Prayer is at the heart of everything we do
Prayer is offered liturgically in our churches at times of worship, but prayer is also something we do as individuals in church, at home, at work, and at play.

We give thanks for:
- our faithful congregation and worship leaders
- our musicians
- the technology that enables us to meet in this way
We pray for:
- the housebound and those who can’t access our church buildings
- more people to feel a sense of connection to our Mission Community whether online or in person
- increased ecumenical cooperation in this online space

Prayer focus: Remembering
As we celebrate the Festival of All Souls and All Saints
we remember those who we have known and loved who have died.
We pray for those in the rawness of recent grief,
those struggling to process grief
and those who live with the dull ache of loss.
At the time when we remember our armed forces
and all who have given their lives in the service of their country
and for the cause of peace,
we pray for all those who serve the country in military service.
Bless and protect our soldiers, sailors, pilots
and all thosewho support them.
We pray for those who struggle to hold onto their memories:
those with Alzheimers or any form of dementia.
We pray for the confusion, fear and hurt this can bring
and the strain it places on wider families.
Help us to value creating happy moments
even if they are soon forgotten.
We pray for those who find remembering the past difficult or traumatic.
We pray for all those who live with experiences of abuse,
trauma, violence, neglect or loss.
We pray for sensitivity in our listening and speaking.
