Visitors are now greeted by a ‘come on in’ feeling as soon as they walk through our door! Lights snap on in automatic welcome, transforming what was previously a gloomy and off-putting interior into a light-filled space. Our new movement activated lighting has made a huge improvement to the ambience of the church and, best of all, the chancel lights now draw attention to the primary focus – the altar. This instant radiance even makes it feel warmer!
Other benefits include greatly improved safety through providing good all-round vision immediately on entering and an enhanced visitor experience as visitor displays and publications can be read much more easily. Moreover, after evening services, the intrepid last man out is no longer forced to navigate from the switches at the rear by torchlight! He now has 15 minutes grace with the lights on!
